Rayan Herat Saffron was selling bulk saffron into regional markets at non-premium prices. Direct EU buyers required third-party organic certification and an auditable chain of custody that the company did not yet have.

Designed an Internal Control System covering farmer groups, collection points, and the processing facility.

Registered farmers, documented plots, and built a chain-of-custody system from field to packed product.

Supported the facility to close non-conformities ahead of the CERES inspection.

Facilitated the CERES audit under EU 2018/848 and supported the client through certificate issuance.
Result
Rayan Herat Saffron was issued CERES EU Organic certification, opened direct buyer conversations in Europe, and repositioned the brand at a premium tier — with international recognition that had previously been out of reach.
